Recognizing the power of education and accessibility, he has been the driving force behind End Overdose's mission to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background or profession, has the skills and resources to respond effectively to an overdose.

Ryan Hampton

Board member

Ryan Hampton is a nationally recognized advocate, author, and media commentator who has become one of the most influential voices in America’s addiction and overdose response movement. In recovery from a decade-long opioid addiction, he has helped shift national narratives through bestselling books, major media appearances, and work on the first-ever U.S. Surgeon General’s Report on Alcohol, Drugs, and Health. His leadership spans both sides of the political aisle, including contributions to key provisions in the SUPPORT Act of 2018. As founder of Mobilize Recovery, he has trained over 10,000 advocates nationwide, and through the Overdose Response Initiative a coalition he helped lead more than 950,000 free doses of naloxone have been distributed in 21 states, cementing his role as a driving force in expanding access to lifesaving tools and community-driven solutions.

Garret Hade

Board Member

Garrett Hade is a person in sustained recovery from addiction and has worked with a number of national non-profit organizations dedicated to finding solutions to ending the addiction crisis. He is Co-Founder of The Voices Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to shattering the stigma associated with addiction as well as providing on the ground recourses communities hit hardest by the addiction crisis. Garrett has provided recovery education and naloxone trainings to detox and treatment centers, sober livings, and community events nationwide – helping to break stigma and provide effective knowledge to help save lives.
